NME Screens Mickey 17

Don't miss NME Screens: Mickey 17 – a special preview screening from director Bong Joon-ho – director of Oscar-winning film Parasite. Mickey 17 is a genre-bending action sci-fi mixed with dark comedy, mystery and romance and stars Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun and Mark Ruffalo. Pattinson plays Mickey Barnes who, desperate to escape his life on Earth, signs up to become an “expendable” on a dangerous journey to colonise an ice planet. These disposable employees handle all sorts of life-threatening, risky jobs and, when they’re inevitably killed, are reprinted out in a new body with most of their memories intact. However, when one of Barnes’ multiples is left for dead but miraculously survives, he ends up going head-to-head with… himself. The screening will take place at Everyman Kings Cross in London on Tuesday March 4. Doors open at 5.45pm, and the screening begins at 6.00pm. Mickey 17 will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on March 14. Please note that a ticket does not guarantee entry. Entry will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. This is an 18+ event
