About

Here in Exeter, we have a number of Archaeology Masters Programmes to choose from. There are dedicated Archaeology laboratories and workshop spaces – including outdoor areas! We also have extensive reference collections of artefacts, human, animal, and plant remains. Studying for an MA/ MSc in Archaeology at the University of Exeter offers unique opportunities to design your own research project, whilst working with world-leading experts in your chosen field. One-hour online session jampacked with tips This one-hour introduction will equip you with the knowledge you need to apply for a Master’s degree in Archaeology at Exeter. It will also provide a sneak peek into the process of developing unique dissertation research projects using archaeological remains. Our department includes specialists that work on a range of different materials from Prehistory to Modern periods. We will offer insights and advice on: - How to create a powerful MA/ MSc application. - Skills training, materials and equipment that can be used for MA/MSc research projects. - How to design a strong MA /MSc research project. - The unique student life and research culture when studying a postgraduate degree in Exeter, England. - Where/how to apply for funding. Afterwards, there will be a live Q&A session where you can ask our archaeologists anything we haven’t covered. For North-American and Canadian undergraduate students Did you know a Masters in the UK: - Does not require a GRE general test? - Offers great quality but lower cost of living? - Only takes ONE year full time, but is still excellent PhD preparation?
