LUUMT's Oklahoma! Saturday EVE 23rd Nov

Come down on the farm to LUUMT's production of Oklahoma! on 21st to 23rd November 2024! Set in 1908, when cowboys still ran wild, and Oklahoma was not even considered a a state, 'Oklahoma!' tells the story of two parallel love triangles. The first is that of the farm girl, Laurey Williams, and her two rival suitors: the cowboy Curly McLain and the outsider farmhand Jud Fry. The second is that of the lovable Ado Annie and her two suitors, the adoring bull-rider Will Parker and the shifty travelling salesman Ali Hakim! The story follows the relationships within the community and delves deep into the character's hopes, wants, dreams and dilemmas.
