▬ Who are we? ▬ Travel Bear is a student-founded and student-led organisation that puts together awesome weekend trips from London. Our goal is simple: to take students and young professionals to explore stunning sites, palaces and landscapes all over the UK and beyond. Do it for the location. Do it for the memories. Do it for the new friends you are about to make and experiences. ▬ Where are we travelling to? ▬ STRATFORD-UPON-AVON There are few British exports more significant and better known than Shakespeare. The famous Bard (Victorian term for ‘poet’) penned a seemingly endless trove of classics which have since been re-enacted by some of the world’s leading and legendary actors over the years. Stratford-upon-Avon was central to his life. It was where he was born and where his final remains were returned upon his death. Our visit to this historic town will include a guided tour taking you to key spots that marked Shakespeare’s life such as his birthplace, his primary school (King Edward VIII) and Holy Trinity Church (where he was buried). In your free time, you may also wish to explore the RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company) where actors from Laurence Olivier to Judy Dench have performed Shakespeare over the years. If the threshold is not attained, refunds will be issued minus the booking fee. ● Tickets, once purchased, are non-refundable. But you are free to sell your ticket onto anyone over the age of 18. ● Our Tours are open to everyone. You do not have to be a student.
