La Scarpetta is thrilled to invite you to our first lunch event on September 17th, taking place alongside the Chiswick Cheese Market. La Scarpetta Supper Club is reimagining conviviality through community-based food systems. The social dimensions of food inspire Supper Club menus on the theme of “colliding cuisines'' to both foster a sense of belonging and challenge the dominant narratives that often contribute to polarisation. You will enjoy a wonderful 5-course lunch, with each course showcasing a different Italian cheese and wine pairing. Experts will walk you through the cheese-making process and the wine's tasting notes, plus the storytelling behind the menu. The menu will include: Robiola & focaccia Smoked mozzarella & grilled vegetables Pecorinos & fall salad Gorgonzola gnocchi Ricotta-based dessert The profits from the ticket purchases in combination with additional donations will go to Slow Food and The Upper Room charities.
