Kate Cheka: A Messiah Comes

Funny Women Award winner of 2023 Kate Cheka brings her debut hour WIP to Hastings Comedy Festival. It's about how to save the world or at least try save yourself and features thoughtful, sometimes filthy observations on all the big issues like sex, capitalism and (pop) culture. I wanted to call it Messiah Complex but another comedian got there first (!) so I've named it thus in honour of my mother who openly admitted to thinking she had and I quote ''birthed the messiah".
