About

KANAK, the dynamic Indo-African fusion collaboration, is back by popular demand! After a hugely successful lunchtime concert at the South African College of Music (SACM), UCT, they will be performing an extended evening set. Prepare for a mesmerising journey through rhythmic landscapes, where traditional Indian melodies intertwine with the rich sounds of African music. This concert is a unique opportunity for students and the public to witness this exciting cross-cultural musical dialogue. KANAK is an Indo-African fusion ensemble led by Vishnu R (India) and SACM, UCT Alumni Sean Sanby (South Africa) and Lilavan Gangen (South Africa).
