Jack and his family, impoverished by the lasting legacy of one Maggie T, soon find their livelihoods under threat when His Majesty's government sends their two (not-so) brightest operatives to recover all the money they owe. But a mysterious encounter with a strange old man gives them an unlikely and very dangerous chance to rescue themselves from financial ruin.
There will be beanstallks, there willl be giants, there will be very corny jokes.
But will there be a happy ending?

The Charity Pantomime is back again and taller than ever! (It’s behind you!)
This academic year we are delighted to be bringing the dramatic, over-complicated and high stakes story of Jack and the Beanstallk to the Barron theatre!
All with the typical very low budget flair and the usual meta subtexts which the director has been begged not to write into the script and will now do so anyway.
This year we are fundraising for Cancer Research!
