Our first speaker event of Term Two: In Conversation with LUKE POLLARD MP. In a world of increasing volatility, the British armed forces must adapt. Cyber-security, international defence, and human security are all of heightened importance. A UoE graduate, Labour MP Luke Pollard is currently serving in government as Minister for the Armed Forces. Luke's career in Parliament started in 2017, and he has since become a rising star within the Labour Party. Join us for what is bound to be a captivating speaker event. You will have the opportunity to listen about his experience in Parliament, his work as Minister for the Armed Forces, and ask him questions during the Q&A.
