Hilary Wainwright is a British sociologist, political activist and socialist feminist thinker. Hilary's academic work has taken her internationally as a visiting professor and scholar, with different positions at the University of California, the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and the University of Tokyo.
Beyond academia, Hilary has extensive experience in journalism, writing for outlets such as The Guardian, The Nation, and The New Statesman.
She is also a founding member and co-editor of Red Pepper, an independent radical magazine that promotes internationalism, welfare, self-determination, and democracy.
