Alex will explore the 2025 market outlook, examining the potential impact of the U.S. elections, central bank movements, and key trends shaping financial markets as we move into the new year. Alex will also share some insights from his career after spending over a decade working for J.P Morgan in both London and New York. Alex is an economist and investment strategist, who has over a decade as a Global Investment Strategist for J.P Morgan Asset Management covering macroeconomic development, central banks and financial markets. After initially starting in London, Alex relocated to New York in 2017 and travelled extensively in the U.S presenting at major investor conferences. Alex regularly appears on financial news outlets including Bloomberg and CNBC sharing insights into the latest financial trends and market movements. Alex’s research is frequently quoted in prestigious financial publications, such as the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal. Currently, Alex is pursuing a PhD in Economics at SOAS, focusing on sovereign defaults, currency and bond markets. Alex holds a MSc in Finance & Economic Policy from SOAS. Alex also holds a BSc in International Business, Finance and Economics from the University of Manchester. In addition, Alex holds a number of professional qualifications including the CFA, CAIA and the Investment Management Certificate.
