Forming a Response to Syria Debate

We are very excited to announce that our first debate of 2025 will be on forming a response to the recent events in Syria. With the fall of the al-Assad Regime, Syria has entered a time of change as they form a new Syrian Government. In this debate, we will explore how the United Nations can assist Syrian Refugees and support humanitarian efforts while ensuring that the new government can effectively protect the human rights of its citizens. 🇺🇳 Given the sensitivity of this topic, we ask that all delegates please be respectful of the topics and if you have any concerns do not hesitate to contact us either through the Instagram or on our member’s WhatsApp. We cannot wait to see you this Tuesday in the Matrix Lecture Theatre!
