Auditions for all string players wishing to join the chamber orchestra or the symphony orchestra will be held on Sunday 29th September in Cornwall House, Practice room 4. Please book a ticket to indicate that you would like to audition.
The auditions will involve you playing part of a piece of your choice, a short sight-reading excerpt, and an informal chat with EUCO conductor Paul, EUSO conductor Tim, EUCO president Matt, EUSO president Hannah and EUCO vice president An Mei about your musical interests and experience. Your chosen piece should either be with piano accompaniment played by our accompanist Will or a solo piece which is written for your instrument and no accompaniment. You can audition for both EUCO and EUSO in the same audition.
