Mission Lancaster invite you to join them, Bishop Swarbrick, and those from all over the diocese, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Lancaster Diocese at our Centenary Ball on January 3rd, 2025.
This special event will be held at the stunning Villa at Levens, fondly known to many as Brettargh Holt.
The evening will commence with welcome drinks and live music from our pianist Matt Swainsbury, setting the tone for a night of celebration and fellowship. Guests will then be treated to a sumptuous three-course dinner, accompanied by wine, followed by tea and coffee.
We are delighted that Fr Andrew Allman, son of the Diocese and current vice-rector at Oscott seminary, will give us an after dinner address on the theme of Pilgrims of Hope; sharing his reflections as we journey into both the centenary and jubilee years.
Following the speech, enjoy a chance to socialise, dance, and revel in the festivities with live music provided by Canon Alf Hayes and his band The Jags.
A fully stocked bar will be available throughout the evening, accepting both cash and card.
This black-tie event is a unique opportunity to mark a significant milestone in the history of our diocese. We look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable night in a beautiful setting as we honour our past and look forward to the future.
