2024 sees the return of MacManus with the release of his book ‘The Bluster Boy’ accompanied by new material including a free album.
The Bluster Boy are stories by Davey about his career over the past 30 years to the times he spent with his sister Annie Mac, supporting The Stereophonics in front of 55,000 people at Morfa Stadium to touring Stadiums with Snow Patrol and Billy Corgan. To then giving it all up to pursue a career as a nurse in Africa.
Bluster boy was released on the 28th of August 2024 at a very special intimate event at Bridge Street Books Wicklow (voted the best independent bookstore in Ireland)
On the back of the book Davey is back to promote his brand new album ‘Even the trees know karate’.
