Crystal Clear Presents Ejeca - CANCELLED

Crystal Clear are back with another massive headline event at The Welly! This time we bring you Ejeca! Having played multiple boiler room sets and also at Creamfields he's no stranger to shutting down a party, tickets will absolutely fly for this so don't wait around! Ejeca aka Garry McCartney is one of Belfast’s best musical exports in recent years from the growing scene in Northern Ireland. His down- to-earth attitude has allowed him to gain recognition from his musical peers and with constant solid releases it’s always been music first, hype later. From a young age his fascination with production culminated in early releases such as the limited edition, vinyl-only Tusk Wax Five EP, and his work with fellow Northern Irish artist, Bicep on AUS. After 12 long years of hard work, his big break finally came when two of his tracks were named 'Essential Tune of the Week' on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show. Ejeca is now a firmly established name as a reputable purveyor of high quality house and techno with strong support from the key tastemakers such as Sven Vath, The Black Madonna, Kolsch, Joris Voorn, Laurent Garnier, Bicep, Maya Jane Coles & lots more. It’s safe to say Ejeca has got his hands full as he maintains a worldwide DJ tour schedule, full of releases and his Trance Wax alias kicking up a storm throughout key tastemaker and music purveyors. Alongside Ejeca we have three unbelievable support artists starting with Ben Daddy. Ben Daddy found his footing as a Crystal Clear DJ Society resident and president. Ben's no stranger to supporting big names, having played for the likes of Asquith, Cinthe, Cromby, Shy FX and Wookie to name a few. Our Second support artist is Luke Ellerby. He's a Hull based DJ, playing a range of house and techno. Having played Tunnel on multiple occasions both for Crystal clear in support of Cromby and more recently Higgo. He also ran his own events under Maneuver and is also the resident DJ for Welly Goes Raving. He often appears on the Residents Association line up. Luke's set are high in energy and full of life. Last but not least is another Crystal Clear president, Nick Kearney. Originally from Belfast, Nick Kearney came to Hull for uni. Having got involved with the University's DJ society Crystal Clear, Nick had the opportunity to run various events in venues across Hull as president. He plays a solid selection of House, Techno & Disco. He is also the co-founder of the underground House & Techno night Maneuver. Nick has also supported the likes of Hammer, Big miz & Ross from friends to name a few. See you in the dance!
