Community Book Club: Girl, Woman, Other

Let’s get together on February 28th from 4 p.m. in The Greenhouse, Devonshire House, for the Community Library’s first book club event! For LGBTQ+ History Month, we will have a look at Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo. Come join a vibrant discussion on this 2019 Booker Prize winner that intertwines the lives of twelve characters, exploring themes of identity, love, and LGBTQ+ experiences. You can find four copies of the book in the Community Library in Devonshire House as well as some copies in the University library. Prefer audiobooks? Find it for free on BBC Sounds! Refreshments will be provided Please note this event is held at a venue that is wheelchair accessible via lift access, and an accessible toilet. You will also have the chance to inform us of any dietary requirements which are passed onto the venue. There is car parking available close to the venue, including blue badge parking.
