For what seems like an enternity in the making we can finally announce the debut set of the incredible Valia Rees down at the OLD RED! Moving from strength to strength in the Drum & Bass community, Valia brings a unique presence to the decks, traversing fresh deep cuts, silky smooth groovers and funked out techier tracks in the mix. We're mad blessed to have her down as part of her tour right across the UK and further afield this autumn/winter. Sheffield based Widdzy & Konfide have been busy cooking up dubplates like no tomorrow, and have proved to be a formidable presence in their home town - this will be another debut feature for you to get stuck into! Siren Sounds, our partner for this event, champion female and non-binary DJs through their events and workshops, so naturally we have another first to bring to the event in the form of newcomer Vanella alongside Leoa. Bass Pirates are known for their hard hitting beats, and O/NIL is one of their finest flag bearers, if you missed him last time tearing it up with us then be no stranger down at this one! Loker & LD50 provide support throughout the night to keep you hooked to the floor with punchy, minimal & brooding cuts of darker DNB funk pressure & classics peppered in, with resident MCs hosting throughout and rotating through the sets. Expect an inclusive atmosphere and weighty tunes over a thumping sound system until the early hours. FREE advance tickets are available however places are limited, make sure you bag one beforehand to secure entry for zero cost! Free tickets are valid until midnight.
