About

The Carnegie Club of St Andrews is delighted to announce our first speaker of Carnegie Conversations: HRH Prince Khalid bin Bandar al-Saud. HRH Prince Khalid bin Bandar al-Saud is the current Saudi ambassador to the UK and previously held the post of Saudi ambassador to Germany from 2017-2019. He has also had an accomplished career in the private sector, currently acting as chairman of Byblos Real Estate Development Company and executive chairman of Dayim Holdings. This is an opportunity to learn more about Saudi Arabia and engage in dialogue around pertinent geopolitical issues. The aim of this talk is to create new lines of international dialogue and to present people with the chance to challenge both theirs and others’ views on relevant topics. As such, it is important to remember that this is first and foremost a space for productive discourse. The topics of this event will include Saudi culture, domestic policy, and foreign policy. The event will be evenly split; the first portion will consist of a conversational panel led by members of the Carnegie Club, which will be followed by half an hour of audience questions. We look forward to seeing everyone there; if you haven’t seen the norms posted on our series announcement, please take a look before attending. In addition, we kindly ask you to respect the following basic rules: No bags No food/drink Smart casual attire
