Bookmark making for MRF

On Friday the 29th of November come to the Unions Bridie library between 3 and 5 pm to make your own bookmark! Design one to help with your studies or for a friend while also helping to support an incredible charity. Meningitis is a medical emergency in every language. There are 2.5 million + cases of meningitis every year. 1 in 6 people who get bacterial meningitis do not survive the disease with 1 in 5 survivors left living with lifelong disabilities. Around half of all meningitis deaths are children under 5. This is why MRF are so important for all the people who have had their lives forever changed by this disease. They provide support services and a helpline plus do instrumental research into vaccinations and preventative measures. They have worked tirelessly to put meningitis on the world stage and helped create the Road Map to defeat Meningitis by 2030. So come along, take a break from the library, and help support this incredible charity! Bookmark-making materials will be provided You can come anytime between 3 and 5 £5 entry and you can make as many bookmarks as you want
