About

This year’s theme for Black History Month is “Reclaiming Narratives,” and marks a significant shift towards recognising and correcting the narratives of Black history and culture.' - Cherron Inko-Tariah MBE at Black History Month 2024. Exeter Students' Guild has set-up this collaborative workshop to create actions to drive forward anti-racism work. Our aim is to create an anti-racism project group for students, led by students. This event is the starting point to discuss ideas, share honest feedback, co-create solutions and to find students that are both passionate and interested in participating in this work. Our mission at the Guild is to help students love Exeter, but this month we particularly want Black students to come together and to reclaim, retell, and celebrate the narratives that matter most. The venue has access to basic seating, is step free, has access to accessible and gender neutral toilets, and blue badge and general parking nearby. If you have any questions about this event please don't hesitate to get in touch via email at [email protected].
