She joined the auction house in 2014, as Head of the Impressionist and Modern Art Department in London. She was then promoted to Global Head four years later, in 2018. India’s professional journey started in the museum sector, working in renowned institutions, such as the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. Before joining Bonham’s, India served as the Deputy Director of Prints and Multiples at Sotheby's London and as the Associate Director of the Impressionist and Modern Art Department of Christie's London. From the very outset of her career, India has cultivated a profound interest in Impressionist and Modern art, with a special focus on the works of masters like Auguste Rodin and Camille Claudel. - With us, India will be discussing the Impressionist and Modern Art market, her impressive career path, her experience at Bonham’s and the intricate behind-the-scenes of managing one of the biggest auction houses. - The talk will be followed by drinks and a networking session. 🥂
