AKASHA are a London based electronic psychedelic jazz collective. The band is an incendiary live unit featuring Tim West (Keys) Simeon Jones (Sax) Tim Weller (Drums ) and Russell Milton (Bass) as well as Founders / Writers Charlie Casey (Vocals / Guitar) and Damian Hand (Saxes / Flutes ) Live shows are a madcap soulful journey through Electro jazz , Dub , Drum and Bass ,Trip Hop, Circus Ska and Psychedelia visiting many other genres en route. From the mellow and introspective to full on beat laden Dance, Akasha have a sound all their own and have played prestigious festivals and clubs in the UK and Europe including Glastonbury and Ronnie Scott’s. Members of the band have worked with many influential artists including Lemon Jelly, Neneh Cherry , Maxi Jazz , Groove Armada , Art of Noise, Jerry Dammers , Dhol Foundation, Dexy’s ,The Divine Comedy and Van Morrison. THE COASTAL PATH is a Bristol based four-piece creating ambient alt-rock with echoes of sixties psychedelia.
