Fruity’s back baby and we’ve got some catching up to do!
You may have seen the recent government announcements about the changes in restrictions as England moves to Step 4 of the roadmap on the 19th July. Guidance has been released which outlines what you are advised to do and what we are advised and required to do.
As we have done throughout the last year, we continue to put the welfare and wellbeing of our staff, customers and students above all other considerations and want to give you information about how we intend to operate Fruity Summer Finale on Friday 23rd July.
We intend to follow the direction given in the recent press conference by the Prime Minister: “As a matter of social responsibility we're urging nightclubs and other venues with large crowds to make use of the NHS Covid pass, which shows proof of vaccination, a recent negative test or natural immunity as a means of entry."
What you need to do
Follow the advice to get the NHS Covid Pass
Make sure you complete what you need to do in advance, which may be taking a test:
Complete a lateral flow test no earlier than 48hrs before the start of the event and report your negative result
or if you take a PCR test in the 48hrs before the start of the event, that will be reported automatically
Check your pass - it will appear on the NHS App without you having to do anything if:
You received a 2nd vaccination over 14 days before the start of the event
You are considered to have natural immunity - you tested positive for COVID-19 using a PCR test and it has been between 10 and 180 days since your positive test result.
Download the NHS App or have the evidence of your negative test (confirmation email or text) with you and be prepared to show it on entry.
Other things you need to know
You will be refused entry if you don’t provide the evidence above
You will be need to wear a mask when entering the LUU building and would advise you wear a mask in the venue as well
We advise you to check in using the NHS contact tracking app
Please do not attend the event if you have Covid symptoms, have tested positive or have been asked to isolate by NHS track and trace
Measures we are taking to help keep you safe
Our air handling system will be operating at full power
Hand sanitising stations are located around the venue
Additional cleaning will take place throughout the event
Card payments are the only method of payment
We’ve planned the return of Fruity around the Government’s latest update on Coronavirus restrictions. If things change we will adjust our plans accordingly. If we need to cancel an event you’ll be entitled to a full refund of the ticket face value. If restrictions require us to reduce an event’s capacity, we want to keep things fair. We’ll operate a ballot system for tickets and any tickets we need to cancel will be fully refunded.
We can’t wait to welcome you back to Fruity this Friday!
