About

Johnny CT present comedy and Shisha at deja brew in Walthamstow! The event will start from 7;30 to 9;30pm The time on the ticket is wrong Joe mcardle : Joe McArdle has been writing and performing comedy for over a decade. After winning a stand up comedy award during his time in Edinburgh, Joe continued to bring his lively and cheeky style to comedy clubs around the UK, most recently at the Comedy Store in London. Joe is a writing partner for satirist Munya Chawawa and played a part in helping write on two of BAFTA-nominated shows, Race Around Britain and How To Survive A Dictator. Joe is also supporting Munya Chawawa on his Live Tour in October (get tickets you cheeky bastards) Rob moriaty: Rob Moriarty is an Irish comedian who has also performed in Germany, Poland and the UK. He has performed at some of the best clubs in Ireland, such as The Craic Den, Comedy at The International and The Comedy Crunch. In Germany he has performed at the Hamburg International Comedy Festival and in Berlin he won the Berlin New Stand Up Award in March 2022. In London he has won the Vauxhall gong show, the Beat the Blackout gong show at Up the Creek, the Backyard Comedy Knockout competition and the prestigious King Gong show at The Comedy Store London. He has performed on pro weekend bills at Backyard Comedy Club, The Comedy Store London, City Comedy Club and The Bill Murray. He also reached the semi finals of The Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year ‘22. He has opened for comedians such as Victor Patrascan, Mike Rice and Reginald D Hunter.  “The future of comedy. God help us” - David Mc Savage “Excellent and Fresh” - Tom Ward Dami: DAMIETE…Damiete, pronounced *Da-Me-Eh-Teh*, is a Musician turned Stand Up comedian, based in London and of Nigerian origin. In summary he is charismatic and charming as he smiles while sharing his insightful yet ridiculous views and insights... which according to everyone who has ever experienced his material, he should have been performing stand up from much earlier but we’re glad he’s here now! And he is absolutely one to watch! “…We can never guess what he’s gunna say next but I want to hear the rest no matter what it is” – (DUDE AT THE END OF A SET THAT ONE TIME) Limahl Germain: is a 27 year old British-Caribbean comedian raised in East London. I’ve performed 100+ gigs around the UK; some notable venues include Top Secret Comedy Club, Hackney Empire, Up the Creek, Vauxhall Comedy Club, Backyard Comedy and more. My style is anecdotal humour touching on themes such as race, relationships, politics, politics and general social commentary. Selam: is a cultural maestro of laughter, who splits her time between crafting jokes and crafting change in London. As a comedian, she’s a producer behind Counterpoints Arts’ No Direction Home, where laughter knows no borders. When she’s not dropping punchlines, Selam is on a mission with Azmari Bet, giving Ethiopian culture the spotlight it deserves—because who said promoting cultural richness couldn’t be hilariously fun? Hassan Phills: Canada’s comedic gem, ventured into stand-up, conquering stages from Just For Laughs to nationwide tours. With a mic in hand, he’s shared laughter alongside Hasan Minaj, Nimesh Patel, and Whyte Yardi.
