The barmaid stares at the static digital clock on the till screen. Midnight. Time seems to be at a standstill while the bar around her is full of life. The tip jar isn't full enough, the kegs are emptying and the conversation is hardly enlightening. She makes another double rum & coke, passes it to the punter and takes the £10 notes. 'Keep the change' he says, all 20p of it. She looks at the clock. 00:01am. Whether it's solitary or hectic, night-time work can leave you feeling lonely and under-appreciated. Northern Parasol are excited to introduce 'The Nightshift', a residency like no other. For six weeks, we will be brining The Nightshift to Eagle Inn, showcasing the best up & coming talent from the North West, to one of the Salford's most loved venues. Headlining this one are the incredibly talented 2981. We're very excited for them to be topping this bill after they have conquered our stages before, they are without a doubt one of the most original bands in Manchester right now. Joining them are Banana Undertones and Kenny, two equally eclectic and energetic acts that we're delighted to have completing this lineup. This Nightshift will not be lonely, it will not be menial, it will not be forgotten. Join the madness, join the chaos and join the club, every Wednesday night.
