The ENGINE are a four-piece instrumental funk band specialising in stripped-down, raw, retro funk and rare groove classics. They have a huge list of credits between them, including The James Taylor Quartet, Deodato, Beverly Knight, Cee Lo Green, Carleen Anderson, Sound Stylistics, Natalie Williams, Ronnie Scotts House Band, Corinne Bailey Rae, Sia, Hugh Masekela and more. Expect to hear grooves by Herbie Hancock, Jimmy McGriff, Cymande, Lettuce, Fela Kuti, Groove Holmes, Kool & The Gang and ‘household names’ such as Little Royal, The Gaturs, Baby Huey, and Clarence Wheeler and The Enforcers.
