BTS x In:Flux Audio ft Cartridge

We are very happy to be teaming up with Tik, Mr. Bossman over at In:flux Audio, to showcase some of the talent who've released on the label in the past 12 months. Originating as a Bassline label hosting their nights in Sheffield, In:flux Audio now calls Leeds home. The label has developed its sound over the past 2 years, covering the full Bass spectrum and firing off creative & weighty releases from some of the top UK underground talent. Powering the event for the first time, we our very excited to be using our home grown rig, The Elephant in the Room Sound System. LINE UP Cartridge Man like Carty is rolling into town after a storming year, with releases on a who’s who of Dubstep labels such as Encrypted Audio, Albion Collective, Foundation Audio and CNCPT Collective to name a few. Not only the busy release schedule, he also finished runner up in Duploc’s Breakthrough Producer Award at the back end of 2019 amongst a heavy nomination list. This one promises to be special, as it’s always a Party with Carty! Tik Tik is the madman behind In:flux Audio, usually found producing in the duo Tik&Borrow. Their forward thinking, neuro-driven take on Dubstep & Grime has landed them top spots in the Beatport and Juno Download charts these past 12 months. Tik also regularly hosts the aptly named Tik&Borrow show on SUB FM, that has played host to an array of upcoming Dusbtep talent, including Beneath the Surface’s very own Vtavta, Martian and Yustee. Aztek Sheffield badman Aztek has been working hard within the Dubstep scene these past few years, with plenty of releases on labels such as Dank N Dirty Dubz, Indigo Movement and In:flux Audio. Having been part of the In:flux Audio crew since the first Free Dubstep release back in July 2018, Aztek has put together his signature sound for the label, with plenty more on its way in 2020. Imajika Leeds native Imajika is no stranger to Beneath the Surface, having graced the decks at a number of our previous events, his energy can always be felt whether he's behind the controls or raving with the masses. This year has been a big year for the producer, with Juno Download naming his ‘Cap’n Morgan’ EP (release on In:flux Audio) one of their top Dubstep Releases of 2019. This alongside airplay by the likes of Mala, Sicaria Sound, & Joe Nice, as well as being shortlisted on Honey & Bass’ recent ‘Ones to Watch’ article, shows that the future is bright for Imajika. Fork and Knife Releasing on labels 1Forty, Downplay Recordings, and In:flux Audio to name a few, it has been a big year for Fork and Knife; with his Killa P and SBK collabs getting some serious playtime these past 12 months. His production has a distinct, instantly recognisable home-grown sound and has been involved with In:flux since 2018. He has now built up quite a back catalogue on the imprint with his cross-genre sound recently taking on a lovely Dubstep twist that is so uniquely Fork and Knife. J. Kong J. Kong landed on In:flux Audio with his Nonsense EP at the back end of 2018. Happening to be the label's very first Dubstep release, this started their journey towards the sound they’ve been pushing this past year. Since that first EP he’s become one of the cornerstones of the imprint, releasing many orginals, a second EP in November, and remixing Imajika's ‘Glockin’ Out’ - getting some serious airplay at Outlook Festival 2019.
